330 N. WABASH

This case study analyzes AMA Plaza, formerly know as the IBM building, which was the second tallest building ever designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1969. Originally designed to house the offices and equipment of IBM, the building's electrical system, environmental system, floor strength, and ceiling height can support large raised floor computing centers. Today the lower floors house The Langham Hotel, with offices above.
