HAMILTON HOUSE
This proposed design for a single-family residence in Chicago’s Northcenter neighborhood is intended to respond thoughtfully to the scale, proportion, and rhythm of its context while introducing a restrained mid-century modern sensibility. Clean horizontal lines, warm natural materials, and expansive glazing create a light-filled, contemporary presence that balances openness and privacy. The project also includes an accessory dwelling unit (ADU), providing flexible accommodation for multi-generational living and contributing to more efficient use of the site. Together, the primary residence and ADU explore how thoughtful design can enrich neighborhood character while meeting evolving residential needs
