Arc & Ember is a proposed design for a modern Mediterranean restaurant located on the first floor within a restored three-story brick loft building in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Conceived as an adaptive reuse project, the design transforms an existing industrial structure into a refined yet approachable dining destination. Expansive windows, warm wood arches, and graphic tile floors establish a balance between the building’s original character and a contemporary interior identity. The project emphasizes light, material contrast, and spatial rhythm to support communal dining and extended stays.
