​This project shifts focus from geometry to image. The project Compositional Form’s source material was compositional art, this project directly references architecture at two opposing scales: the single-family house and the office tower. This project modifies an existing Chicago Worker’s Cottage through the lens of our concept using “pixel material” from a contrasting building scale. While working on a single-family house, the program is not domestic in nature. Instead, it will invent ways in which these modifications can shift from the domestic to the institutional, in the form of a gallery space for viewing artwork.
