This project proposes a contemporary athletic club for downtown Chicago that expands the traditional American Athletic Club model into a more inclusive civic presence. Located in the Loop, the building combines athletic facilities with dining, residential, educational, business, and leisure programs. While membership-based spaces support training and wellness, approximately one-third of the building is open to the public, providing much-needed indoor and outdoor gathering spaces in a dense urban area. The project positions the athletic club not only as a destination for fitness, but as a modern public institution that contributes to the social life of the city.
